Hiya, folks...
Hope everyone is doing well this fine Sunday. Apologies for not getting our two "final" reviews posted. We've been so busy with play and projects that I've had to set that particular endeavor aside.
You will note that I placed the word final in quotations. The reason is simple: a very good friend asked me, as a favor to him, to keep the blog going even if I only post one film review a month. There were also requests and feedback from other readers that gave me pause.
To honor my good friend's request, we will continue to post reviews here, but probably no more than 1-4 a month. He says that makes him happy and is good enough for him, which makes it good enough for me.
With that in mind, please expect intermittent reviews to post throughout the summer (as our travel and project schedules allow). I have to be honest that part of me is quite glad to be continuing this journey with you all. Yes, it makes thing even more busy, but it is ultimately worth it...
In addition to the wonderful NUOVO MONDO (GOLDEN DOOR) and LA PIVELLINA (THE LITTLE GIRL) posting this week, Please expect us to review the following films throughout the summer:
We will post the reviews throughout the next few months as events and schedules allow. In the meantime, enjoy the start of spring/summer. We are quite stoked. Seize the day!
And to my bud, this one's for you. : )
