At any rate, I hope you folks don't mind, but I had intended the subject reviews to be the last two of the Jelly-Bean Grab-Bag Week of New Releases. However, I've decided to postpone them for another "Girl Power" week coming up next month, for reasons too complicated to go into here.
In keeping with the Jelly-Bean Grab-bag theme, though, I'll be reviewing two random films for the substitutes. One is a new release on DVD (Dario Argento's latest, GIALLO) and the other is modern classic that's been around awhile (SCENT OF A WOMAN which nabbed Al Pacino an Oscar for Best Actor). But they are polar opposites of each other.
